A variety of attractive scholarships are available to prospectivecurrent and graduating SHAPE students.

Coventry University is offering the opportunity for new SHAPE students who are energetic, enthusiastic and ambitious students to be Coventry University ambassadors at SHAPE and share their experience with other students.

Outstanding Performance Scholarship (OPS)
This Scholarship gives recognition to the outstanding academic performance of students.  


In 2021 and 2022, over 70 SHAPE students with outstanding academic achievement at their sub-degree level were awarded the scholarship.

Endeavour Scholarships (EDS)
This Scholarship gives recognition to deserving students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the pursuit of excellence in academic and other areas.  

In 2021 and 2022, over 10 SHAPE students with good academic performance at their sub-degree level were awarded the scholarship.

Talent Development Scholarship (TDS)
This Scholarship gives recognition to students who have demonstrated achievements or talent in non-academic areas and provide support for them to further develop their talent and potential.  Talent areas include sports and games, music and performing arts, culture, arts and design, and innovation, science and technology.  

In 2021 and 2022, about 80 SHAPE students were awarded the scholarship.

Reaching Out Award (ROA)
This Scholarship aims to support students who plan to participate in learning, internship or service programmes, as well as national, regional and international events and competitions that are conducted outside Hong Kong and organised/endorsed by SHAPE.  

In 2021 and 2022, over 50 SHAPE students with good academic performance at their sub-degree level were awarded the scholarship.

Sir Edward Youde Memorial (SEYM) Fellowships for Overseas Studies
The Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund (SEYMF) Council offers awards of Fellowships to finance outstanding Hong Kong students to pursue overseas studies of postgraduate degree (i.e. Master/ Doctoral degree) in AY2023/24.

Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship
This Scholarship supports students to pursue a master’s degree in science and technology-related subjects at universities in the UK, covering tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses and airfares for one academic year in AY2023/24.

WMG School Scholarship 
This Scholarship provides a full tuition fee scholarship to high-calibre university graduates and/or outstanding working adults to study the MSc Programme and Project Management* programme offered by WMG, the University of Warwick at VTC.  Graduates from local or overseas universities who have obtained first-class honours degree, or who have accomplished recognised outstanding achievements in their career or professional development are eligible to apply.

Entrance Scholarship for WMG MSc Programme
This Scholarship is eligible to VTC graduates who hold:

(1)   a Higher Diploma awarded by VTC and a recognized Bachelor's degree; 

        OR 

        a Bachelor's degree offered by SHAPE or THEi;

AND

(2)  successfully completed the MSc Programme and Project Management
       programme offered by WMG, the University of Warwick at VTC within the 12-             month and 24-month registration period for Full-time and Part-time^ mode of             study respectively.

^ Part-time students eligible for the Entrance Scholarship should take into consideration of the modules available each year for the completion of their studies. All core modules will be run once a year. Two elective modules, subjected to arrangement set by Warwick WMG, will be run every year. WMG School is not responsible for students not being able to meet the completion requirement due to the availability of the elective modules.

* The value of Entrance Scholarship is based on applicants' academic achievement (upper second class honors degrees or above).

HK$20,000 to HK$30,000* Application is not required. The awardees will be informed if they fulfil the selection requirement.
