- Academic and Professional Excellence

This module aims to support international students in developing cognitive, metacognitive, interpersonal, technological, professional and academic skills to enable them to successfully engage with their studies at the final year and to progress successfully to post-graduate study. It is designed to assist you in developing specified subject-specific and employability skills alongside the development of language competence.
- Implementing Strategy and Change

This module looks at the way strategy and change is implemented in a variety of organisations and contexts. As organisations develop they change to meet the needs of their altered environment. Organisations make strategic choices which will affect the direction the organisation will take. This module helps you to gain an understanding of the strategic decisions that organisations make and their implications.
- Leadership in Contemporary Organisations

This module explores contemporary leadership challenges facing organisations today. In addition to exploring current literature, case studies and examples of leaders, you will develop a clear view of their personal leadership preferences and aspirations. You will complete the module with a comprehensive understanding of effective leadership styles and approaches and how they might personally lead in their future roles.
- Developing People and Organisations

The module is designed to enable you to develop a critical understanding of the theory and practice in Human and Organisation Development. It will develop an awareness of HRD practice in the context of the organisation and external environment. It will explore the theory and emergent models, processes and practices that enable the design, delivery and implementation of development. The module also explores approaches to sustained organisational business performance and future organisational strategy.
- Contemporary Developments in Employee Relations and Employment Law

The module is designed to develop career skills for those aiming for HR management and development roles. It will enable you to extend your knowledge and skills on a range of existing and emerging models, processes and practices involved in the management of the employment relationship. These will be applied in local and international contexts. It will also introduce you to key employment law legislation and systems in which HR activities are regulated. The module will aid you to develop a greater understanding of the subject enabling you to evaluate emerging developments in the regulation of the employment relationship in differing contexts.
- Research and HR

This module enables you to identify and review the business and external contextual factors affecting organisations and to assess the impacts of these factors on the HR function. It examines HR’s role in strategy formulation and implementation and develops the skills of research and enquiry in order to support an investigation into an area of HR practice. The module is also designed to encourage you to adopt a critical perspective of these contexts and to provide workable organisational and HR solutions to address them.

Further Studies
Having been recognised at QF Level 5, this top-up degree programme meets the standard of locally-accredited bachelor's degree programmes. Upon graduation, students can pursue their further studies at Master’s degree level in Hong Kong and Overseas.
