SHAPE Celebrates the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025
SHAPE and the Partner Universities jointly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025, marking an important milestone for over 1,500 graduates as they completed their academic journey and prepared to embark on the next stage of their careers.
The ceremony brought together academic leaders, distinguished guests, graduates, families and friends to recognise the hard work, perseverance and achievements of the graduating class. It was also an occasion to express appreciation to parents, educators and supporters who have accompanied students throughout their learning journey.
Addressing the audience, Professor Raymond So, Principal of SHAPE, congratulated the graduates on their dedication and resilience. He encouraged them to take pride in their accomplishments and to approach the future with confidence, adaptability and a commitment to lifelong learning.
The Graduation Ceremony also highlighted the strong and enduring partnership between SHAPE and the Partner Universities. Through industry‑relevant programmes, close engagement with employers and international learning exposure, the partnerships are dedicated to equipping students with the skills, knowledge and global perspective required in today’s competitive and rapidly evolving workplace.
Professor So also shared insights on the evolving global landscape shaped by climate change, economic uncertainties and advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence and medical science. He highlighted Hong Kong’s role as an international financial, transportation and trade hub, as well as the opportunities arising from the development of the Greater Bay Area, encouraging graduates to stay agile and seize emerging opportunities.
Professor So reminded graduates that meaningful achievements are built through perseverance and continuous effort. He emphasised that learning does not end at graduation, but remains a lifelong pursuit.
As the Class of 2025 transitions from students to alumni, graduates were encouraged to remain connected with SHAPE and the Partner Universities, and to share their experiences and achievements as inspiration for future generations.
The Graduation Ceremony concluded with warm congratulations to all graduates, celebrating both their academic accomplishments and their readiness to contribute positively to society and the global workforce.
